Profile: Sentaro's Grandmother helps to run the Daimonji school of Martial Arts Tea Ceremony with Sentaro. She taught Sentaro in the ways of martial arts ceremony and is anxious about finding a possible heir to the dojo.
Sentaro's grandmother had witnessed Sentaro's desperate attempts to get out of his marriage with Miss Satsuki by kidnapping multiple girls, none of which were able to fit the purpose of beating who he though was Miss Satsuki (and who was really Miss Satsuki's pet monkey, Sanae). Naturally, she acted very aloof and derisive toward Onna-Ranma when she was forcefully kidnapped by sentaro and brought to the dojo. She eventually acquired a respect for the pig-tailed martial artist in the later match against Sanae.
Personality: Sentaro's grandmother is one who is very sure in her authority as an elder martial artist of her art and style. She tends to not take things at face value and wishes to see people prove themselves before they have her approval. She is strict with Sentaro, especially when he was a bachelor, but seems to be happy with his match with the real Miss Satsuki.
